The Staff
No Dental office is complete without the staff that drives it.Meet the staff of John T Gordon DDS!
Dr John T Gordon, D.D.S.
Dr. Gordon has been serving the Greater Islip Community for over 30 years! Born and raised in Lindenhurst, NY, he went to Stony Brook undergrad where he received a BS in Biochemistry and minored in History. One of his great historical passions was World War II history, particularly the Naval Battles of the Pacific.
Following his undergrad studies, he graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore in 1992, and followed that up with a residency in Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD), also at the University of Maryland.
Upon moving back to Long Island, he opened his practice in 1995 and has been serving the Islip community ever since.
His hobbies include bowling, spending time with friends and family, especially his 2 beautiful daughters!
Joanne Caligiuri, R.D.H
Joanne, our must trusted, respected and liked staff member has been with the practice since 1999! For 26 years, she has treated each and every patient as if they were family, and in the greater sense of the community, they are!
Joanne continues to provide quality compassionate care, as well as a shoulder to cry on while juggling seven grandchildren!
The Front Desk
The desk staff at John T Gordon DDS offer a degree of professionalism found no where else! From making your appointments, to greeting you to making you comfortable to be a part of our practice, they go above and beyond!
Aris has been here for 5 years, and offers her great knowledge navigating through insurance companies and managing to keep the front desk moving along.
Carrie brings years of professional experience and customer service to a very demanding job.
Together they compliment each other well and provide the ultimate dental experience.
The back office
No dental office is complete without the staff that drives it and that most importantly includes the assistants! Our knowledgeable dental assistants, take their role very seriously.
Clari has been with us since 2014 and offers her professionalism and compassion to each and every patient.
Mari has been with us since 2018 and is just as professional and compassionate.
Both are fluent in Spanish and
